Choose how you begin

Your project.
Your starting point.

01 / DIGITAL PLANS

Start with the files.

Scout plans include DXF cutting files and PDF build instructions, with a digital license to manufacture one boat. Arrange your own material, cutting and build.

Digital product. No physical hull or kit is supplied.

02 / HULL KIT

Choose your hull.

Choose a model and its available components. Confirm exactly what your configuration includes, then plan the assembly and additional systems that complete your boat.

03 / WITH YOUR BUILDER

Build with a plan.

Working with a fabricator or boat builder? Bring them into the model, configuration and power discussion early. For multiple hulls, request a multi-kit quote.

Start with the essentials

A good fit starts
with good details.

The hull, power setup and intended load belong in the same conversation.

Choose the space you need.

Start with the model’s dimensions and seat layout. Tell Sitka how many people and how much gear you intend to carry, and the kind of water you plan to use. Confirm the suitability of the whole setup rather than choosing by model name alone.

Identify your donor and pump.

Gather the donor make, model and year; engine identification; pump model or diameter; and the intake, shaft, coupling and mounting details you have. Send clear photos if anything is uncertain. Ask Sitka to review the combination before purchasing components.

Confirm the kit contents.

Ask for the parts list and build documents applicable to your model and selected options. Separate included pieces from optional upgrades and items you will source elsewhere. Keep the itemized quote with your project notes.

Plan beyond the hull

See the whole build.

Use this checklist to gather quotes and identify what is already covered. The kit price is one part of a completed boat.

Tick items as you review them. Your selections stay on this page while it is open; they are not sent to Sitka or saved after a reload.

Explore parts

From first questions
to first pieces.

01 / DEFINE

Make your shortlist.

Compare dimensions, layout and options. Gather your donor information and decide who will carry out the build.

02 / CONFIRM

Bring it together.

Review the configuration, component compatibility, included documents, delivery destination and current availability with Sitka.

03 / PREPARE

Get ready to build.

Review the applicable assembly documents with your builder, arrange your workspace and confirm the remaining systems and outside work.

A few things
to know first.

The answers that help you plan the next step.

Is a kit a ready-to-run boat?

No. Kits require assembly and additional components. Photos may show completed boats with equipment and options that are not included in the base kit. Review the itemized contents for your order.

How do I plan for shipping and timing?

Send the model, quantity, delivery country and postal code, plus your target build month. Check the ordering FAQs and confirm a current shipping quote and availability before scheduling the build.

Where do I get assembly documents?

Ask Sitka for the parts list and build documents that apply to your chosen kit. The separately sold Scout digital plans include PDF build instructions and DXF cutting files under a one-boat license.
